Want to learn about your rights at work, how to speak up, and use your story in safe and powerful ways?
Join us for UNLEASHED – four free in-person workshops run by people with lived experience of disability for young people like you.
What you’ll learn:

Workshop 1 — Knowing Yourself (7th May)

Explore your strengths, values, and what drives you — including how lived experience shapes what you bring to work. Activities:

• Strengths Card Sort
• Strengths and Opportunities Worksheet
• Find Your Why

Workshop 2 — The World of Work (8th May)

Understand different types of employment, what to look for (and watch out for) in a workplace, and how to communicate your needs and style at work. Activities:

• Job Matcher
• Communication Strategies Card Sort

Workshop 3 — Tailoring Your Application (28th May)

Learn how to read a job ad analytically and rework your existing CV to match what an employer is actually asking for. Activities:

• Reading a Job Ad (keyword and criteria analysis)
• Matching Your Strengths to the Role

Workshop 4 — Interview Skills (29th May)

Understand what employers are really asking, prepare your answers, and practise in a low-pressure setting — including how to talk about what you need to do your best work. Activities:

• Interview Preparation Worksheet
• Interview Practice (pairs/small groups)

We encourage you to attend all four sessions, but you are also welcome to attend just the ones most useful to you.
