Founded in 2006, Vital Interpreting Personnel was built on a foundation designed exclusively to offer independent access to the Deaf/Deafblind and hard of hearing community to connect with and contribute to society, in their own language.
Our focus is ensuring that our community has communication access to all areas of life on an equal basis with genuine autonomy creating equality, belonging, empowerment and the confidence to act on their own values and interests. As Vital has grown as an organisation, we remain dedicated to creating and maintaining autonomy as a right and not a privilege within the Deaf/Deafblind and hard of hearing community.
Our services evolve to best suit the needs and the demands of our community. Our services are delivered respectfully and with courtesy and consideration supporting our clients, allowing Deaf/Deafblind and hard of hearing clients to flourish, achieve their goals and be supported to maintain independence and autonomy in their lives.
We pride ourselves on easy access, supported by an authentic understanding of Deaf/Deafblind culture. We are a small community with a big culture and here at Vital we make it our goal to embrace every aspect of this at every level.
