DESCRIPTION:APM Communities has partnered with Filmmaker Marty Stevens as Co-Founders of Empower Real: Storytellers Festival\, a mixed media event to celebrate International Day of People with Disability based on the universal themes of Access & Inclusion.\nMarty is passionate about filmmaking and giving a voice to People with Disability. Marty advocated for this event to create more opportunities for PWD to participate in filmmaking and photo stories across Western Australia\, including regional and remote communities\, to share their storytelling to “Empower Real”.\n\n\nYou are welcome to a special night showcasing short films\, photo stories and live performances!\n\n\nThe event will be Auslan Interpreted. All shortlisted entries will be captioned and audio described.
