With the help of three \nhearing cast members\, they share the highs and lows of growing up in a hearing world – from Deaf education in the 70s\, tales of heartbreak\, and celebrations of new technologies. \nThis heartfelt story will drag you through a range of emotions and expose you to an unfamiliar and challenging\, yet beautiful at times\, cultural experience. DESCRIPTION:Bunuru Concert on Saturday 23 March 2024 at Ryrie Reserve in Como. Come along to this FREE community event featuring children’s activities including  children’s craft and rides\, cultural immersions by Djoona and roving entertainment the whole family will enjoy. \nPack a picnic or choose from a range of delicious food vendors on site from street food to coffee and ice cream – there’s something for everyone. \nLocal budding entrepreneurs participating in the Youth Mini Maker’s Marketwill display an eclectic mix of stalls selling creative wares such as jewellery\, art and recycling clothing. Expressions of interest for stallholders are currently open via our online form until Monday 26 February. \nSounds of Bunuru is a proudly inclusive event. The concert will feature Auslan interpreters\, ACROD parking and track matting to allow access for people using a wheelchair\, walking aid or pram. \nNo bookings required.
