SUMMARY:The Lifetime of Deaf and Deafblind 2 – A powerful Deaf-led celebration of language\, connection and identity
DESCRIPTION:Deafinite Connection returns to Fringe World 2026 with The Lifetime of Deaf and Deafblind 2 — a captivating new work directed by Peter Blockey\, featuring acclaimed Deaf performer Princess Nidera\, deafblind artist Eddie Szczepanik and a talented ensemble of hearing performers. \n  \nThrough Auslan\, visual theatre and expressive movement\, this evocative production shares personal and cultural stories from Deaf and deafblind experiences. It is a heartfelt exploration of language\, resilience and belonging — performed entirely in Auslan and English to accommodate for both Deaf and hearing audiences. \n  \nBuilding on the success of the original Lifetime of Deaf and Deafblind\, this new chapter features six original signed songs inspired by Auslan poetry\, developed by a Deaf-led creative team with an interpreter and hearing supports. The result is a vivid and inclusive theatrical work that connects communities through shared expression and artistry. \n  \n⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “A stunningly expressive and deeply human performance — a rare window into the Deaf world that leaves audiences speechless.” – FringeFeed Review \n  \n“This project is about Deaf people telling their own stories — our way\, our language\, our culture. It’s about visibility\, empowerment and sharing the beauty of Auslan with everyone.” – Peter Blockey\, Director \n  \nCreated with the support of Deaf Connect\, The Lifetime of Deaf and Deafblind 2 is a testament to the passion\, creativity\, and determination of the Deaf arts community in Western Australia. \n  \nAudiences can experience this powerful and inclusive production at Fringe World 2026. The show will be running on January 24th\, 25th\, 31st & February 1st at 4:50PM in The Hat Trick in The Pleasure Garden\, Russell Square\, Northbridge. \n  \n?️ For updates and ticket information\, visit: https://fringeworld.com.au/whats-on/the-lifetime-of-deaf-and-deafblind-2-fw2026
