DESCRIPTION:Venue: Armadale District Hall\, cnr Jull street and Church Avenue\, Armadale \nDate: Wednesday 6 May \nTime options: \n\n10.15am to 11am\n11.15am to 12 noon\n12.15pm to 1pm\n\nCost: FREE \nPeople with disability\, your friends and families are invited to attend a free tactile tour of Minnawarra Art Awards\, conducted by DADAA. \nAs one of the City’s premium events\, the renowned Minnawarra Art Awards presents a beautifully curated exhibition showcasing a variety of mediums from some of Western Australia’s most prestigious artists. \nTactile tours are offered to facilitate enjoyment of the artworks through dialogue and touch. These tours have been created to introduce people with disability and/or vision impairment to the Minnawarra Art Awards and maximise inclusion so that everyone can experience this exhibition in meaningful and engaging ways. \nFree but bookings are essential and places are limited. \nTo book\, please email  jacqueline@dadaa.org.au\, and include: \n\nnumber of visitors will disability and access requirements\nnumber of support workers or carers\npreferred time of tour\nemail and mobile number\n\nAuslan interpretation is also available\, please advise at time of booking. \n Venue access: Limited accessible parking\, however bus and parking bay reservations can be made upon request. Activities: \n\nStrengths Card Sort\nStrengths and Opportunities Worksheet\nFind Your Why\n\nWorkshop 2 — The World of Work (8th May) \nUnderstand different types of employment\, what to look for (and watch out for) in a workplace\, and how to communicate your needs and style at work. Activities: \n\nJob Matcher\nCommunication Strategies Card Sort\n\nWorkshop 3 — Tailoring Your Application (28th May) \nLearn how to read a job ad analytically and rework your existing CV to match what an employer is actually asking for.
