Gather around Fremantle’s first war memorial for the service hosted by the Bicton/Palmyra RSL Sub-Branch. \nWhen: Tuesday\, 25 April 2023 at9:00am \nWhere: Cnr Queen Victoria St and Harvest Rd\, North Fremantle \nAuslan Interpreter will be provided by Vital Interpreting Personnel. \nTransport and Parking \nTransperth is offering free travel on public transport for anyone wearing military uniform or medals. Additional early train services will depart Perth Station to allow for travel to the Dawn Service. A connecting shuttle bus to Monument Hill will depart from Fremantle Station\, with return shuttles back to Fremantle Station after the Dawn Service.\nFor journey planning or more information on public transport services\, call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 or visit the Transperth website. \nCity of Fremantle carpark locations can be found here. Overflow parking will be provided for the Dawn service at John Curtin College of the Arts. DESCRIPTION:Crossing Borders Youth Camp\n\n\n\n\nThe 2023 Crossing Borders Youth Camp supports DeafBlind/ Deaf/ Hard of hearing young aged 13-17 years old to develop their self-esteem\, personal and leadership skills as well as enhance their friendship networks. At the camp\, participants will be involved with teamwork building workshops\, outdoor adventure activities and environmental education exercises. A psychosocial disability can include things like depression\, anxiety and other serious mental health issues.  \nThis can be brought on by isolation within the deaf community.  \nWe are here to provide assistance in filling out your applications. This can help receive funding from the NDIS in relation to your psychosocial disability.  \nIt can be difficult to go through this process and be gather the evidence you need to fill out an application. There can be lot of paperwork involved and it can be quite lengthy. \nI will be presenting this workshop in Auslan and I will be educating you on how to go through this process. I will be information you on how to fill out the forms appropriately and how to gather any evidence that you might need. \nIf you are interested and would like to come along\, you are more than welcome.”
