SUMMARY:Hats Off BBQ
DESCRIPTION:Hats Off is a not-for-profit organisation that has recently established an association. The aim is\nto provide a safe and supportive environment for Deaf and Hard of Hearing men to attend the\nBBQ and chat event\, held every two months in Perth\, Western Australia.\nThe BBQ and chat event includes free sausage sizzles and drinks for participants. While there is full\nsupport and respect participants who require support workers\, the Hats Off Board has\nagreed that paid support workers (excluding volunteers) accompanying a client to the event will\nbe asked to contribute $5 if they would like to have a sausage sizzle and a drink.\nIn addition\, while the BBQ and chat event is currently designed for Deaf and Hard of Hearing\nmen\, there may be times when participants are supported by female support workers. In these\nsituations\, Hats Off kindly ask female support workers to remain nearby but outside the event area\n(out of sight) unless their client requires assistance.\nThis approach helps maintain a comfortable and safe space for the men attending the event. \nLocation: Neil MCDougall Park\, 18 Ley St\, Como \nTo book a CommGuide\, CLICK HERE
