DESCRIPTION:Blind Citizens WA are pleased to offer you First Aid training that is specially designed for people who are blind\, vision Impaired and Deafblind. \nThis training is also a collaboration of Blind Citizens WA\, Blind Sports WA and Deafblind WA. \nPlease send an email to bcwa@westnet.com.au with all the requested information no later than Thursday 10 November 2022. \nWhen: Friday 18 November from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. \nWhere: Claisebrook Lotteries House\, 33 Moore St\, East Perth – about 5 minutes walk from McIver train station. \nSeveral parking spots may be available behind the building. \nThere is also a paid Council car park on Royal St but it’s about a 5 minute walk from the venue. \nCost: $20.00 per person for catering. \nSupport workers must also pay if they would like to eat the food supplied. \nPlease let us know if you have any dietary requirements. \nHow to Pay \nPlease make your payment to: \n\nBank: Westpac\nAccount Name:  Blind Citizens WA Inc.\nBSB:  036037\nAccount No:  518406\nReference:  Please put your name along with the words\, “FAT” in capital letters in the reference box\nOnce you’ve paid\, please send an email to BCWA at bcwA@westnet.com.au so we can check that the payment goes through.\n\nAccess Needs \n\nWe will have 2 Auslan interpreters on the day.\nWe have NOT been able to book a tactile interpreter as there was none available\, but please feel free to organise your own interpreter if you need one.\nA BCWA member who has done this training with AWFA has informed us that the online training is accessible for screen reader users.\nIf you have any other access needs\, please send an email to BCWA at bcwa@westnet.com.au or call Zel on 0413813885.\n\nWhat We Need From You \nThe training provider\, Australia Wide First Aid (AWFA)\,  tells us no one can participate in the training without the information provided below: \nYour first and last name: \nBirth Date (Optional) DD/MM/YY: \nMobile: \nEmail: \nUSI: \nUnique Student Identifier (USI) \nThis is a registered training so you must provide a USI in order to complete the course and get your certificate. \nIf you don’t have a USI\, or you can’t find it\, visit http://www.usi.gov.au or call the USI department on 1300 857 536. \nE-Learning Assessment \nAWFA says: “Students must complete and submit their e-Learning Assessment before 11:59pm (AEST) – that’s 9:00 pm Perth time – the night before the course.
