DESCRIPTION:DBWA would like to announce the Deafblind Awareness Week will be in June 2023.\n\n\n\n\nDBWA are excited to have 2 workshops in March for people to make ceramic tiles that will be used for Deafblind Awareness week in June. \nWhen: \nWednesday 1st March at 12.30pm to 3.30pm \nWednesday 29th March at 12.30pm to 3.30pm \nLocation: \nAt The Rise (DBWA Connect hub) The Rise\, 28 Eighth Avenue\, Maylands. \n  \nA teacher will come and help you how make ceramic tiles then take it all and fire it in the kiln. Ceramic tiles will be ready as harden then will be placed on the totem poles. \n  \nDon’t miss out! DESCRIPTION:Tactile Tours  \nExperience and enjoy some of the ‘safe to touch’ sculptures through interactive and informative tours with trained guides. \nWeekday Tours \n10.15am & 11.30am Tuesday 7 – Friday 17 March 2023 \nEvening tours \n6pm Thursdays 9 & 16 March 2023 \nWeekend tours \n10.15am & 11.30am Saturday 11 March 2023 \nLocation: Meet your Access Tour Guide (who will be wearing a blue Sculpture by the Sea t-shirt) at the ‘Tactile Tours Meeting Point’ sign located next to the accessible entrance on Marine Parade at the wooden table under the trees. \nBookings for Tactile Tours are essential.
